"A name is the first gift we give our children...
...the name we choose has sentiment; it tells a story of who we are, who they will be and what they will become."
That's why we offer a personalisation service adding the initials of your special little bub, the perfect keepsake.
ip dip do
100% Organic Cotton
Our fabrics are made with Organic Cottons and Organic dyes which means little bubs will be wearing irritant free fabrics that haven't started life being treated in harsh chemicals.
Once upon a time..
Born in Melbourne, ip dip do began life for parents who wanted to keep the gender reveal of their little bubba a surprise but were finding that buying gender neutral came with its challenges and limitations in terms of options.
I had the same problems and frustrations whilst I was expecting. I wanted relaxed lounge appeal and a simplistic street-wear vibe inspired by city living.
So I designed a casual and effortless gender neutral babywear collection with everyday looks elevated with the fun ip dip do DNA.
I love that my pieces have that ease of wearability across genders but also that I use fabrics that are 100% organic cotton. Everything I do from labelling to packaging takes into account the impact of the environment which is now the heart and soul of my collections...after all, I want my ip dip family to be proud to wear my designs knowing I am doing my very best to reduce my carbon baby print on our planet.
Enjoy, mi familia!
As a mum I want to know I've done my very best, and then some, to leave as little impact on the planet as possible. This is something that is now at the forefront of my design processes, from my labels to the reduction in plastics used.
Our swing tags and stickers are all made from FSC Certified Products which guarantees that trees harvested are replaced or allowed to regenerate. Read more here.
Our compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. The use of PLA makes up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource.
The bags are certified by the leading authorities worldwide; meeting American, European, International and Australian standards – including certifications for your domestic home compost. To gain these certifications, the product must break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions, including worm farm compost. After degradation, they must leave no harmful residues behind.
So much more can be done. Always learning and always growing.
